THE CHARTHOUSE RESTAURANT

From M4 (J24 and J26)
From the east (Chepstow, Severn Bridge) leave at J24 (Coldra) and take the 4th exit onto the A449, signed M50,
THE MIDLANDS, MONMOUTH. After 8 miles, turn left onto the A472 (signed USK) and go into Usk town.
Take the first right onto the B4598 at the Three Salmons Hotel, signed ABERGAVENNY.
After 6 miles you arrive at Llanvihangel Gobion, and The Charthouse is at the junction with the Abergavenny to Raglan road.

From the west (Cardiff) leave at J26; take the first exit onto the A4051, signed CWMBRAN.
After 1 mile take third exit at roundabout, signed ABERGAVENNY, M4 EAST. At the next roundabout take first exit onto A4042, signed ABERGAVENNY. For the next 10 miles, cross a further 7 roundabouts, staying on the A4042 and following ABERGAVENNY signs.
Three miles after the 7th roundabout, and ½ mile after the village of PENPERLLENI turn right, signed
NANT-Y-DERRY, CHAINBRIDGE. After ¼ mile bear left for PANTYGOYTRE. Keep straight ahead for 2½ miles until you reach the junction with the B4598 (opposite Pantygoytre Farm); turn left towards Abergavenny.
The Charthouse is ½ mile ahead on the right, at the junction with the Abergavenny to Raglan road.

From Midlands (via M5, M50)
Leave M5 at J8, take M50 to SOUTH WALES, ROSS. At the end of the motorway take the first exit onto the A40, signed ROSS-ON-WYE, MONMOUTH. Stay on the A40, passing through Monmouth. After 7 miles, branch left and follow A40 towards ABERGAVENNY. Pass Raglan Castle on your right, at roundabout take 4th exit to CLYTHA (this is Clytha Road, which passes below the A40 and later becomes Groesonen Road).
After 4½ miles you arrive at the junction with the Abergavenny to Usk road, signed USK, Golf Course.
Turn left, and The Charthouse is immediately on your left.

From Hereford
Leave Hereford on the A49; at roundabout take 3rd exit onto A465, signed ABERGAVENNY.
After 23 miles, briefly join the A40 at roundabout, then turn left onto the B4598, signed USK, BRYNBUGA.
After 3½ miles, turn right for USK.
The Charthouse is immediately on your left after turning the corner.

From South West Wales, via Heads of the Valleys Road (A465)
Follow A465 towards ABERGAVENNY. At roundabout outside Abergavenny, take 2nd exit signed HEREFORD, A465, MONMOUTH; immediately move to right-hand lane, signed THE MIDLANDS, MONMOUTH. Move across to left-hand lane, turn left onto the B4598, signed USK, BRYNBUGA.
After 3½ miles, turn right for USK.
The Charthouse is immediately on your left after turning the corner.

From West Wales, via Brecon (A40)
Follow A40 from Brecon to ABERGAVENNY. Entering Abergavenny take 3rd exit at first roundabout, signed MONMOUTH, MERTHYR TYDFIL (A4143).
At second roundabout take 2nd exit, signed MONMOUTH, MERTHYR TYDFIL.
At third (Waitrose) roundabout take 3rd exit to join A465, signed MONMOUTH, A465. At next roundabout take 2nd exit signed HEREFORD, A465, MONMOUTH; immediately move to right-hand lane, signed THE MIDLANDS, MONMOUTH. Move across to left-hand lane, turn left onto the B4598, signed USK, BRYNBUGA.
After 3½ miles, turn right for USK.
The Charthouse is immediately on your left after turning the corner.
